A Neenah man has been convicted after stabbing his brother repeatedly.
27-year-old Darnell K. McCauley was in a Winnebago County courtroom on Wednesday (December 11th) for a plea hearing where he was convicted following entering no contest pleas.
McCauley pleaded no contest to Aggravated Battery-Intend Great Bodily Harm and Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
These charges were handed to the 27-year-old after he stabbed his brother 18 times in December of 2023.
It is reported that McCauley stabbed his brother following a dispute over a cigar.
His brother sustained significant injuries to his neck, head, shoulders, and back.
Following his conviction, McCauley will return to court for a sentencing hearing on February 27th of next year.
