The Port of Green Bay tonnage totals are in for last month.
November 2024 tonnage of 152,274 was nearly 94% higher than the November 2023 total of 78,506 tons.
During November, 17 ships entered the Port, bringing this season’s total vessel visits to 165 compared to 151 last year during the same time period.
The year-to-date total up 1,560,227 tons which is 4% decrease from this time last year.
November’s leading cargo was limestone at 89,778 tons. Other cargo throughout the month included cement (34,359 tons), petroleum products (18,330 tons), wood pulp (9,701 tons) and aluminum modules (106 tons).
Dean Haen Port of Green Bay’s Director stated, “As the shipping season approaches its final months, we’d, once again, like to express our appreciation for our terminal operators and their contributions to the stability of our economy and great quality of life.”
