The DATCP has awarded its latest round of Dairy Processor Grants, and have opened up the application period for the next round.
Earning the grants this time around were Alpinage Cheese, LLC, Organic Valley, Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, LLC, Family Fresh Pack, LLC, Hidden Springs Creamery, LLC, Marieke Marketing etc., LLC, and Widmer’s Cheese Cellars, Inc.
A total of $200,000 is available for this round of Dairy Processor Grants, as part of the biennial budget signed by Governor Tony Evers.
Eligible applicants must operate a licensed dairy processing plant in Wisconsin that is engaged in pasteurizing, processing, or manufacturing milk or dairy products.
Funding from these grants can be used to address a wide range of dairy business needs such as food safety, staff training, plant expansion or modernization, and professional consulting services.
