A man is facing a 4th OWI after a short pursuit with the Wisconsin State Patrol.
According to WSP, they were asked by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office to help find a stolen Toyota sedan last night (December 15th).
The sedan was suspected of being driven by 38-year-old Joshua M. Fuller of Vesper, Wisconsin.
It was also believed that Fuller had a gun.
Another driver called the police of a vehicle matching the description of the Toyota, and at 11:40 pm, a Wisconsin State Patrolman tried to stop the sedan on Interstate 41 and County Highway G in Winnebago County.
Fuller allegedly continued to drive away at high speeds while driving very poorly.
A Grand Chute Police Officer was able to use a tire deflation device on I-41 near College Avenue, and Fuller was taken into custody after driving for about nine miles.
He’s being charged with OWI, a fourth offense, eluding a traffic officer, and several warrants unrelated to the incident. He was taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the stolen vehicle and stolen firearms matter.
