Authorities in Fond du Lac County have said a “very dangerous suspect” has been apprehended after a police chase this weekend.
On Friday (December 13th) in the City of Fond du Lac, A deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle believed to be driven by a man with ten felony warrants for his arrest.
The deputy tailed the man, a 33-year-old from Milwaukee, at a distance before he entered a small parking lot.
Here, law enforcement attempted to make a high-risk traffic stop as it was known the suspect often traveled with a firearm.
The suspect evaded police and rammed an unoccupied vehicle to elude authorities, beginning the pursuit.
The vehicle traveled over embankments and through backyards to get back on the streets at Arndt Street.
Once on Peters Avenue, the suspect ran multiple stop signs at high speeds before colliding with an occupied civilian vehicle.
The collision disabled both cars involved, and the suspect fled on foot.
While on foot, a deputy utilized an Electronic Control Device to disable the fleeing suspect and place him under arrest, ending the pursuit.
The “violent wanted suspect” has had additional felony offenses added to a long line of charges in Dodge County, including possession of various drugs, False Imprisonment, Battery, and more.
