The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating some thefts from ATM’s.
Sheriff Matt Joski says an off-duty Kewaunee County Sheriff’s deputy noticed suspicious activity occurring at an ATM in Luxemburg.
Officers were called and attempted to stop the suspicious individual who was in a vehicle.
A high-speed chase ensued, but the suspect stopped after the short chase.
Sheriff’s deputies say other ATMs were checked, and at least one other was tampered with.
Deputies are working on the case with the assistance of the State of Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation.
