Saige Damrow, who led Howards Grove to four consecutive state volleyball titles and ranked the number 2 libero in the 2023 Prep Volleyball class, has announced she is leaving The Wisconsin Volleyball program and entering the transfer portal.
Damrow, a redshirt freshman, was limited to three matches and six sets in her first year due to a leg injury.
In 2024, Damrow played defensive specialist and libero and got more court time but announced Wednesday on Instagram that she is leaving Wisconsin.
She wrote in part that although it was her dream to play for the Badgers since she was a little girl, she believes there are new opportunities that await her, and she can’t wait to see what happens next.
Wisconsin’s season ended on Sunday with a loss to Nebraska in The NCAA Regional Finals.
