The Kohler School District (KSD) has named their next Superintendent.
At the KSD board meeting last week, Board of Education President Cory Bouck announced the hiring of Dr. Michael Juech who will replace current Superintendent Lisa Greene following her retirement.
The KSD board considered more than 25 individuals for the role before interviewing six for the position.
Following further interviews, Juech was offered the job, which he eagerly and enthusiastically accepted.
Juech comes from the respectable Howard-Suamico where he most recently served as Assistant Superintendent of Operations.
Juech has a lengthy work history in education as both a teacher and an administrator.
KSD is working on a transition plan and hopes to have Juech work alongside Greene to ensure he hits the ground running during the transition period.
