The CEO of a local cheese manufacturer is now also the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Road America.
Louie Gentine, the CEO of Sargento Foods was recently elected to the position following the announcement of the resignation of Ron Pace at the end of the year.
The board selected Gentine unanimously, while Pace will continue to support the organization as a Board member and Vice President.
Gentine’s extensive experience includes leadership roles across marketing, production, and procurement, where he has driven strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
His tenure at Sargento has been marked by significant achievements, including implementing a three-year strategic planning process and the successful expansion of the company’s business units: Consumer Products and Food Service & Ingredients.
Gentine admits he is filling some big shoes, saying, “Ron has set an extraordinary example, and I look forward to building upon the strong foundation he has established while working alongside the Board to shape an exciting future for this iconic venue.”
