The woman accused of fleeing from police after stealing from the tip jar at KFC remains in the Manitowoc County Jail.
48-year-old Brenda Rodriguez-De Jesus was given a $1,000 cash bond on charges of Fleeing or Eluding an Officer, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting an Officer, Discharging Bodily Fluids at a Public Safety Worker, and Hit and Run of an Attended Vehicle.
She was arrested after a worker at the Manitowoc KFC reported that Rodriguez-De Jesus had entered the restaurant, began yelling at them before taking money from the tip jar and fleeing the scene.
Officers located the suspect vehicle and took chase, but Rodriguez-De Jesus was able to elude them, but also caused a crash, which she fled.

While she was being arrested, she allegedly attempted to pull away from the officers and spit at one of them.
Rodriguez-De Jesus was ordered to have no contact with the KFC in Manitowoc and is due for her initial appearance on December 23rd at 1:30 p.m.
