The former Ripon High School basketball coach has pled not guilty to child sexual assault charges.
31-year-old Mihai Schnell-Harrison was in a Fond du Lac County courtroom yesterday (December 18th) for his arraignment.
Schnell-Harrison entered not guilty pleas to Sexual Assault of a Student by School Staff, Possession of Child Pornography, Child Enticement-Sexual Contact, Exposing Genitals to a Child, and Exposing a Child to Harmful Material.
It is alleged that while he was the head coach of the boy’s basketball team, he exchanged nude photos with an underage Ripon student.
Schnell-Harrison and the minor then met up in the high school parking lot, where they allegedly had physical and sexual contact.
He will be back in court on February 17th for a status hearing.
