A Reedsville man is facing jail time after pleading guilty to lottery theft.
According to court records, 42-year-old Matthew Buchholz will face six months in the Manitowoc County Jail for theft of movable property after he stole scratch-off lottery tickets worth between $10,000 and $100,000 from his place of employment for over three years.
Fox 11 reports that Buchholz also received seven years of probation for failing to report any of the winnings on his tax returns and false representation between $2,500 and $5,000.
Two other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
Buchholz was facing up to 31 years in prison.
