A federal grand jury has indicted a previously convicted felon from Oshkosh.
Gregory J. Haanstad, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced this week that 42-year-old Donta Bradshaw has been indicted on two counts.
According to the indictment, in November, Bradshaw knowingly stole a Ruger semi-automatic 9mm pistol from a federally licensed firearms dealer.
As a convicted felon, Bradshaw is prohibited from ever possessing a firearm.
Bradshaw could face up to 15 years in prison for the possession charge by a convicted felon and up to 10 years for the theft of a firearm charge.
This case was investigated by the Oshkosh Police Department, the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, and the Milwaukee office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Humble has been selected to prosecute it.
