A man was arrested late last week after fleeing from three separate law enforcement agencies on three separate occasions.
Several Manitowoc Police Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of South 18th Street the day after Christmas to talk to a man with active warrants for his arrest.
When they arrived, they found the man in a vehicle with heavily tinted windows and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
The driver initially refused to stop, slow rolling for a block and a half before finally coming to a stop.
The 18-year-old man lowered his window about two inches and refused to cooperate with police.
The tint on his windows was so dark that officers could not see inside, leading to one drawing his service weapon but keeping it pointed at the ground.
The man eventually yelled at the officers and took off.
He was able to elude police in the heavy fog. He was later located by Two Rivers Police and Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputies, but he was able to flee from them successfully as well.
He was finally taken into custody when he was found in a home in Two Rivers.
He is facing charges of Fleeing or Eluding an Officer and Obstructing, along with ten traffic citations, including Operating Without a Valid License, his second offense, Excessive Rear Window Tint, and Non-Registration of Auto.
