A local non-profit is seeking additional volunteers as they head into the new year.
Manitowoc’s Grow it Forward is looking for volunteers to help provide residents in the area with accessible and healthy food.
There are many volunteer opportunities available for individuals and groups as well.
Those interested can help with the Community Garden, the food pantry, the Community Meal, and much more.
Throughout the year, Grow it Forward also hosts special projects and events that cannot go on without the help of volunteer workers.
Those volunteering under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
