The former leader of the Manitowoc County Drug Unit is pleading not guilty in his misconduct case.
51-year-old David Remiker was back in a Manitowoc County Courtroom yesterday afternoon (December 30th).
Remiker waived his right to his preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial.
He’ll return to court on April 1st for a telephone status conference.
Remiker is facing one charge of misconduct in the office after an audit “revealed that several thousand dollars of asset forfeiture funds were not properly deposited into designated accounts.”
Remiker retired from the drug unit earlier this year.
