The next stop for the Chamber Manitowoc County’s Reality Store is at Reedsville High School.
The monthly event takes place on Wednesday, January 29th.
It allows students to learn basic skills in financial planning, goal setting, and career planning.
Before each event, students pick a career and receive a monthly salary in a “checking account.”
Students then enter the Reality Store to pay their taxes and student loans before making stops to buy a house, car, groceries, and more.
Volunteers are needed for the upcoming event which takes place from 7:45 am to 11:00 am.
They will work in one of the thirteen booths and help students make wise financial decisions based on their salary.
The Reality Store will make stops at four other schools.
