The Farm Discovery Center’s café is officially open and back with its full hours along with a new chef.
The Executive Director at Farm Wisconsin, Patty Lehn expressed her excitement about café reopening with their new chef on the WCUB Breakfast Club.
“Our café is open again with an actual chef for full hours,” she revealed. “So, our café is open for breakfast and lunch from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.”
Lehn also noted that “Chef Andrew is actually doing breakfast and lunch the whole time. So, you can order off of the full meu the entire time that we’re open. You can come for breakfast at 2:00 if you want.”
Chef Andrew has worked at a couple restaurants in Sheboygan; both restaurants are run by Stefano Viglietti.
Viglietti owns four restaurants (Trattoria Stefano, Il Ritrovo, Field to Fork, and Slo Food Market) with his wife, Whitney, in Sheboygan.
“(Chef) Andrew actually worked for Stefano for 12 years, and he actually was the head chef at the Field to Fork which is exactly what we want our café to be,” Lehn explained. “Then he recently moved over to the Slo Food Market, which is under the same umbrella, and opened the café in the Slo Food Market. So, he is super-duper field to fork and he’s super local so he’s super excited for this opportunity and so are we.”
