Manitowoc Lincoln High School will be getting some work done on its roof.
The Manitowoc Public School Board unanimously approved doing some segments on the high school roof with local contractors during their December meeting.
That was a big point for Board Member Matthew Phipps, who explained that CESA 10 did the contract work for the district.
With CESA 10, the district was able to get the lowest bidder and get local workers to do the work.
The $822,320 bid from Crafts Inc. Roofing includes work on some flat parts as well as shingle work.
Phipps also said he was also happy to see CESA 10 go out for bid instead of a group in Madison or Milwaukee getting the project for the district.
