After many years of outsourcing EMS needs, the Grand Chute Fire Department has its own ambulance.
The Department officially began offering EMS service on New Year’s Day.
A news release states that the department has been “working diligently to prepare the ambulances and the paramedics with everything needed to be successful in the launch of this operation.”
Prior to the beginning of 2025, Gold Cross Ambulance was responsible for the EMS service in Grand Chute, but they will not stop either.
The two organizations have entered into a mutual aid agreement, so both Gold Cross and Grand Chute Fire will be available for emergency calls this year.
