There are now two more officers patrolling the streets of Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Police Department has welcomed Recruit Officer Max Schaefer and Officer Edison Thao to the force.
Schaefer started as a Recruit Officer at the end of December and will be doing his schooling at the NWTC Recruit Academy.
He was officially sworn in on Thursday.
Thao, meanwhile, graduated from the Lakeshore Technical College Law Enforcement Academy on December 13th and was sworn in on December 16th.
