The Fond du Lac Police Department has announced a recent promotion.
Chief of Police Aaron Goldstein has announced that Detective Nicholas Hahn has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, effective today (January 6th).
Hahn joined the department in 2001 with his 23-year career spent over a vast array of areas of expertise.
This includes serving as SWAT Tactical Team Operator, Assistant Team Leader, and Crisis Negotiation Team Leader.
As a Detective, Hahn led numerous case investigations, including sexual assaults, internet crimes against children, and homicides.
Lieutenant Hahn is also a highly decorated member of the Fond du Lac Police Department, including awards for lifesaving measures, and was named the 1023 Fond du Lac County Co-Officer of the Year.
In his promotion, Hahn will be a part of the Special Services Division serving as the Supervisor of Criminal Investigations.
