Two more area cities have announced their Christmas tree pick-up programs.
Kiel and Plymouth have joined other local communities in offering residents a free and easy way to get rid of their Christmas trees.
In both communities, residents will be able to place their trees on the curb to be picked up with their regularly scheduled trash and recycling collection.
Trees in both cities must be free of all lights, ornaments, and plastic bags.
In Kiel, residents will have until January 31st to place their Christmas trees on the curb.
The tree collection in Plymouth is already underway and will come to a close on January 13th.
Additionally, Plymouth residents who miss the deadline will be able to bring their old Christmas trees to the City Garage located at 1004 Valley Road between 7:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
