The Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team struggled from the field in the loss to Kettle Moraine over the weekend.
The host Lasers took down the Ships 66-43 after building a 34-19 lead at the break. The Ships had a lot of opportunities at the free throw line, going 16 for 26, and drained five threes in the loss.
Sarah Bolchen was the only Shipbuilder to reach double figure, scoring 14, with seven coming from the charity stripe.
Lila Spaeth had a good day from beyond the arc, nailing three 3’s, which accounted for all of her 9 points on the night.
Kettle Moraine also had a lot of chances at the free throw line and took advantage.
The Lasers went 15 for 19, while also sinking 7 long balls.
Lola Bond led the Lasers with 13 points, while Quinn Ladas also broke double digits.
The Ships are back on the road on Tuesday (January 7th) as they travel to De Pere.
