McCue began his career in May of 1994, serving on all three shifts on police patrol until April 2004.
He became a Patrol Sergeant in March 2006, followed by a role as Metro Drug Unit Sergeant until 2008.
He then became a detective, serving the drug unit until 2012, and retired as a senior detective.
