A local school has been named a recipient of a grant from Bellin Health and the Green Bay Packers.
Valders High School was announced by Bellin Health on Monday (January 6th) as one of nine schools to receive the grant aimed at promoting CPR and AED training and education.
In total, the nine schools will each receive a portion of the $15,000 NFL Foundation grant of up-to-date CPR and AED instruction equipment.
Bellin Health Athletic Team Facilitator Mark Husen said on the grant, “We are thankful to the NFL for helping us keep our communities safe on and off the sports fields.”
Each school has received training from a Bellin Health team member and will be provided with annual checks to ensure the equipment is functioning properly.
Other schools in the area to receive grants include Luxemburg-Casco, Kewaunee, and Green Bay Preble High Schools.
