Manitowoc United Hockey fell for a second time to the Sheboygan Red Raiders.
In the 6-0 win, the Raiders got off to a hot start with two goals in the game’s first two minutes.
Manitowoc had trouble finding chances and getting the puck in the offensive zone.
Sheboygan got two more goals, with the period’s final goal coming from Brady McAndrews.
The second period was a change of pace.
United only allowed one goal but was held scoreless by the Raiders netminder Zane Vande Hey.
Both teams took some penalties, but the scoring deadlock in the second was not broken after the Sheboygan goal.
Going into the game’s final frame, Raiders Captain Brady McAndrews netted his second goal to go up 6-0 on United.
Dan Karlin shut the Raiders down after the goal, saving 40 shots in the game.
United is back on the road to face Neenah at Appleton Family Ice Center this Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
