A Two Rivers man has been sentenced in several domestic violence cases.
47-year-old Cory Lee Augustine was found guilty due to no-contest pleas on charges of Strangulation and Suffocation, Aggravated Battery, and two counts of Disorderly Conduct, all with domestic violence enhancers, as well as three counts of Bail Jumping and two counts of Knowingly Violating a Domestic Violence Order over three separate cases.
Also, charges of False Imprisonment, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct were all dismissed but read into the record.
The cases were combined into a single sentence, which was a total of 6 years of probation, as ordered by Judge Robert Dewane.
Additionally, Augustine was ordered to spend three months in the Manitowoc County Jail under the Huber Law, commencing on March 1st, 2025.
As a part of his bond, Augustine was ordered to maintain absolute sobriety, have no contact with the victim or victims, and pay court costs.
It was also noted in the court records, “Due to the nature of the defendant’s employment, defense may request an adjournment of the report date.”
