LaVerne M. Sisel, age 99 of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, January 26, 2025 at the Hamilton Care Center in Two Rivers.
She is survived by her seven children: Roger Sisel of Manitowoc, Mary Ann (John) Rabitz of Mishicot, Marge (Rod) Henrickson, rural Two Rivers, Gerard “Gerry” (Carol) Sisel of Manitowoc, Michael (Gay) Sisel of Tennessee, John (Teresa) Sisel of Two Rivers, and Robert “Rob” Sisel of Two Rivers; eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister, Marcella Dellemann of Maribel; one sister-in-law, Marie Schweiner of Denmark; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Anna Schweiner; her husband, Dana; brothers: Matt, Norbert, and Gerald Schweiner: brother-in-law, Edgar Dellemann; sister-in-law, LaVerne Schweiner; father & mother-in-law, Joseph and Anna Sisel; one brother-in-law and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 30th at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier, with entombment to follow in Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Thursday morning from 8:30 until 10:00 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
