
Many local and area high school dance teams will be competing at state this weekend.
The varsity state dance competition is set to take place in La Crosse today (January 31st) and tomorrow.
Today, Sheboygan Falls, Denmark, and Kiel High School’s dance teams are set to compete with a state championship on the line.
Saturday will see Manitowoc Lincoln, Plymouth, and both Sheboygan North and South High Schools in competition.
State dance competitions will begin today at 4:00 with Sheboygan Falls kicking off the festivities with their Kick routine.
Saturday’s festivities will then begin tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. with the Shipbuilders’ first event taking place at 10:36 a.m.
The Ships made their way to state after two regional runner-up finishes for their D1 hip hop and D2 pom routines.
The state dance competition features teams competing in jazz, hip hop, kick, and pom routines to crown state champions in divisions one through six.
