Two Manitowoc residents were arrested on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant.
Detectives and Manitowoc County SWAT searched a residence in the 1000 block of South 21st Street on Thursday and located THC and THC paraphernalia.
A detective interviewed a 31-year-old female resident, who admitted to smoking marijuana daily, and said the 39-year-old man she lives with attempted to flush the evidence because were both on probation.
As the search continued, investigators located a baggie of MDMA, more commonly referred to as Ecstasy or Molly, inside the woman’s purse.
In total, 3.5 grams of marijuana and 19.1 grams of MDMA were recovered, leading to charges of Possession of THC and MDMA, and being a Repeat Drug Offender.
It was also learned that the man was previously convicted in federal court on several drug offenses including Possession of THC with Intent to Deliver.
