Donald “Donnie” P. Duvall, age 72, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Donnie was born on October 21, 1952 in Two Rivers to the late Clarence and Alice (Domnitz) Duvall. He was a very hard worker that never complained (unless someone put something in the wrong recycle bin!). In addition to having worked at Pizza Hut in Manitowoc for 15 years, he primarily worked at Holiday House since 1979 in a janitorial capacity. He loved going to the Holiday House, and it was there that he found purpose, meaning, and made him very happy being there with all of his friends. Everyone who knew Donnie knew that he was THE expert in keeping everything clean and neat. He was a very sweet man that always had a smile.
Survivors include Donnie’s two sisters, Elaine Duvall and Diane Duvall; brother, James “Jimmy” Duvall; also his many friends at Ascend Services / Holiday House, Pines Group Home and Paul Road Group Home. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Duvall; one brother; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Blahnik will officiate with burial to take place at Calvary Cemetery in Two Rivers. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be submitted by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
