David P. Luckow, age 67, of Manitowoc passed peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on Monday February 10, 2025.
Dave was born December 28, 1957, in Manitowoc, to the late Melvin and Dorothy Luckow. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976 and later obtained an MBA from Silver Lake College. Dave spent 47 years working at the Manitowoc malt plant from Anheuser Busch to Briess. He had a knowledge and passion for his work at the plant like no other. Dave enjoyed serving the Manitowoc community through the Manitowoc Public Utilities commission for 22 years.
If you didn’t find him working on a project or helping out a friend, Dave enjoyed spending time fishing and cruising the waters of the Cisco Lake Chain with his family.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Ellen of 44 years; one daughter: Nicole (Sean) Boldt; one son: Michael Luckow; two grandchildren: Leo and Violet Boldt; one sister: Amy (Tom) Rappel; two brothers-in-law: Jim (Paula) Revolinsky and Danny (Pam) Revolinsky; special friend Gary (Patricia) Hein; dogs: Ruby and Barklee and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A Life Celebration Social will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Dave’s name.
Dave’s family would like to thank nurse Kim and the staff at Sharon Richardson for their compassionate care.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the Luckow family with arrangements.
