Two lakeshore wrestlers battled for the girl’s 120-pound state championship Saturday night at The Kohl Center in Madison.
Junior and top-seed Angie Bianchi of Two Rivers defeated defending champion and second-seed Emjay Neumann of Manitowoc Lincoln by a score of 7 to 5.
It’s Bianchi’s second consecutive state title, as she was the 114-pound champion in 2024.
She finishes this season undefeated at 27 and 0, while Neumann finished 2025 with an outstanding record of 42 and 5.
She has also finished runner-up at state twice (2023 and 2025). Junior Megan Schuenemann of Plymouth placed sixth at 114 pounds.
