
It was the Mason Skarvan and Nick Hyde game at the Manitowoc County Ice Center as the Manitowoc Breakers bounced back in the their second game of the WAHA 4A Pee Wee State Tournament.
The local squad peppered the net en route to a 9-1 win over Marinette. The breakers put 3 in the net in the first period, and added another in the second before
Marinette sprung free on a breakaway to get back within 3. The Breakers responded quickly, scoring another goal, and caught fire in the third period, ending the game with four more goals.
Skarvan accounted for four of Manitowoc’s goals, while Nick Hyde also recorded a hat trick.
Trevor Pinkerton an d Oliver Schwartz also found the back of the net while Collin Massart and Finn Erickson each recorded a pair of assists, and Hyde, and Reese Kalcich each had one helper.
The Breakers will be battling for a Consolation Championship at 9:45 Sunday morning (March 9th) where they will play either West Salem or Burnett.
