A Sheriff’s Deputy from Sheboygan County has received a statewide award for her work.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has announced that their very own Deputy Amy Brown was recognized with the Meritorious Service Award at the Wisconsin Association of Women Police Conference Awards Banquet on Tuesday (March 11th).
Brown has received the award after being nominated by Sergent Trevor Bethke for her work done during an investigation in 2024.
She began investigating what seemed like a straightforward animal abandonment case, however, she ended up uncovering a series of crimes including child neglect and mistreatment, fraud, and identity theft.
Deputy Brown’s exemplary dedication has given a young child the opportunity to start a new life.
With the announcement of Brown’s award, The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office showed its appreciation for her work, along with all of their women police professionals.
