
The Manitowoc Lincoln Boys basketball team held their season ending banquet Wednesday night at Knox’s Sliver Valley Supper Club.
Juniors Jack Bauer and Sawyer Hartmann shared the Most Improved Player of the Year Award, junior guard Cade Grapentine was named Defensive Player of the Year, senior guard Eddie Bolchen was named the Comeback Player of The Year.
The Ships senior sharp-shooter missed the first 11 games of the year, only to return and averaged 14 points and 4-point-seven assists per game.
Coaches awards were presented to seniors Trenton Ducat and Landon Zick and junior Sawyer Hartman, seniors Brandin Brender and Brayden Steinbecker were presented with captain awards, and Brayden Steinbecker was named the Ships’ Most Valuable Player.
He averaged nearly 20.2 points and 7.3 assists per game and became a member of the Ships’ 1,000-point club.
