A series of road construction projects have been announced for Sheboygan County.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has revealed that two separate projects are set to begin in the coming months.
The first project is slated to begin at the end of March and will include nearly 10 miles of State Highway 32 from County Road D in Cedar Grove to State Highway 28 in Sheboygan Falls.
Crews will be performing culvert replacements, along with patching, milling, and resurfacing along 32.
The project will force the highway to be closed and detoured in certain locations until work is completed, which is estimated to be sometime in October.
State Highway 28 will also be subject to construction and is set to begin at the start of May.
This second project will stretch more than 13 miles on 28 from the southern county line to State Highway 57 in Waldo.
Work on 28 will also include resurfacing along with removal and reconstruction of the bridge crossing over the Milwaukee River in Cascade.
Work on Highway 28 is scheduled to be completed by the end of September.
