A minor tragically lost their life after being struck by a semi-truck on I-94 in Jefferson County early Monday morning.
Authorities say the victim, who had been in a car that veered off the road into a ditch, then walked onto the freeway and was hit by the semi.
The identity of the victim has not been released, and the incident is under investigation.
