One of the Random Lake teens charged with child sexual assault has had his plea hearing rescheduled.
16-year-old Cole Guttmann was originally scheduled for a plea and sentencing hearing on Friday (March 14th) in Sheboygan County, however, a motion brought forth by his attorney has pushed it back.
At that Friday court hearing, a motion was filed requesting modifications to his bond to allow the teen to take the ACT at a site that is not his home.
Since his $25,000 bond was posted in November, Guttmann has been on house arrest, but Judge George Limbeck denied the defense’s motion to modify the terms of his bond and rescheduled the 16-year-old’s plea and scheduling hearing for Friday (March 21st).
Guttman has been charged with First-Degree Sexual Assault-Sexual Contact or Intercourse with a Person Under the Age of 13, Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, and Child Sexual Exploitation, along with two counts of Incest with a Child and two counts of Possession of Child Pornography by a Person Under the Age of 18.
It is alleged that Guttman and another teen, 16-year-old Spencer Dietrich, forced two young brothers into engaging in sexual acts with each other, recorded it, and then distributed the video to others.
Guttman, who also faces additional felony charges related to the incident in Ozaukee County, will be back in court for those charges on April 24th.
