Healthiest Manitowoc County is inviting the public to check out the first public health vending machine in the county.
A ribbon cutting will be held for the machine at 621 York Street in downtown Manitowoc at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16th.
The vending machine will be stocked with items such as Narcan and fentanyl test strips at all times of day.
Char Barwin, the Communications and Program Support Specialist with the Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center, says this location was “strategically selected to ensure these critical resources are accessible to those who need them most.”
In addition to the grand unveiling of the machine, representatives will be available to give hands-on demonstrations of how it works.
