A lightning strike is believed to have caused a fire at an apartment building in Madison yesterday morning.
Firefighters responded to reports of a lightning strike on the roof of the building located on Modern Point Lane.
The strike resulted in flames and damage to at least three areas of the structure.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, though several residents have been displaced as a result of the fire.
