A Milwaukee man is facing serious charges after allegedly throwing a one-year-old child from a second-story balcony.
Officers were called to an apartment building following a report from the child’s mother, who claimed she had been involved in a confrontation with her husband, 31-year-old Jaimann Eiland.
She told authorities that Eiland threatened her with a knife before tossing her child over the balcony.
The child was rushed to the hospital but is expected to recover.
Eiland admitted the argument escalated, and he now faces up to 16 years in prison if convicted.
He is due back in court next week, and his bond is set at $15,000.
