A road construction project in Sheboygan Falls will be impacting pick-up and drop-off procedures for students.
The Sheboygan Falls Elementary School has shared that, starting March 31st, Fond du Lac Avenue will be closed between Rangeline Road and Oak Street, which will significantly affect the school’s usual traffic flow during arrival and dismissal times.
Increased traffic delays are to be expected after March 31st when dropping off or picking up children and finding alternate routes for getting to or from school are recommended.
Bus pickups in the mornings will take place five minutes earlier than previously scheduled as well and parents or guardians are asked to account for this as it will affect all students in the School District of Sheboygan Falls.
The district is working closely with the City of Sheboygan Falls to minimize impact and to ensure the safety of students.
The school will provide updates when they become available as the closure of Fond du Lac Avenue is estimated to last until September 1st.
