A Menasha man charged with purposely starting a Fond du Lac County home on fire is bound over for trial.
WBAY reports that 61-year-old Michael Perez will have his arraignment toward the end of the month.
Perez was arrested in September last year after he allegedly started the fire with an improvised incendiary device.
The fire caused a 16-year-old Fond du Lac teen to jump out of the home and sustain a compression fracture in her spine when escaping.
The teen also suffered second and third-degree burns to her hands and lesser burns to her face and neck.
Perez’s bail is still $750,000.
He faces felony charges, including arson of a building, first-degree reckless injury, criminal damage to property, and mistreatment of animals.
