
Several area girls’ basketball players are members of the 2025 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-State team.
Manitowoc Lutheran junior Marissa Melhorn was selected Division Four Honorable Mention for her contributions to the Lancers’ success this season.
Melhorn led the 25-win Lancers in rebounding at nearly ten a game, was second behind “G’ Ermis in scoring, and was a unanimous first-team selection by the coaches to the Big East-North Division Conference team.
Senior Addy Verhagen of Sheboygan Lutheran is selected first-team all-state in Division Five.
This is her third overall selection, having been selected first-team all-state as a freshman and junior in Division Four.
Senior Hailee Bauer of Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh was also named to the first team.
Verhagen’s teammate, senior Taylor Brigham, seniors Ingrid Beaumont and Alexandria Meerstein of Green Bay NEW Lutheran and seniors Kayla Ranly and Naomi Rikkola of Sevastopol were named D-5 honorable mention.
Sheboygan Falls senior Addison Schliewe was named to the Division Three first team.
She is joined by junior Ady Ketterhagen and freshman Kinsley Ketterhagen of state champion Oostburg.
Junior Riley Ketterhagen of Oostburg and senior Adahlyn Hoerl of Chilton receive honorable mention recognition. West De Pere senior Faith Walder is a first team selection in Division Two.
Phantom teammate, senior Ella Francois and Ashwaubenon senior Gianna Guarascio are D-2 honorable mention selections, while in Division One, senior Peyton Musial of Notre Dame (Green Bay) is a first team selection.
Juniors Melia Lemorande of Bayport and Abby Tassoul of De Pere were given honorable mention recognition.
