A student is under investigation after allegedly bringing a pellet gun to Sun Prairie West High School.
Police were called to the school on Thursday after a report that the student had a replica pellet gun in their backpack.
Authorities determined that the weapon was never displayed or used in a threatening manner.
The student is facing potential charges for possessing a dangerous weapon on school grounds.
