Every county in our area now has fuel above $3.00.
The statistics posted on the AAA Gas Prices webpage show Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of fuel is up 14 cents from last week to $3.09.
Sheboygan and Calumet Counties also came in at $3.09 per gallon, which are 17 and 16-cent increases respectively.
Outagamie County wasn’t far behind, jumping 15 cents to $3.03, while Brown County’s 14-cent bump leaves their average at $3.08.
Kewaunee County reported a 13-cent jump to $3.07, while Door County saw the smallest increase of 6 cents to $3.04 per gallon.
The state average jumped quite significantly, with the 19-cent increase leaving the state with an average of $3.08 per gallon, while the national average is up 5 cents to $3.13.
