The Manitowoc Public School District has issued a statement on a discrimination lawsuit filed by a former teacher.
Nora Robles submitted the suit in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District, claiming she was not provided proper support, and that the principal at the time fostered a hostile work environment.
Mike Nault, the Director of Human Resources for the District, issued a statement to SeehaferNews.com, saying “The Manitowoc Public School District is in receipt of the lawsuit filed by Nora Robles. We are in the process of investigating the allegations contained in the lawsuit. MPSD takes matters of this nature very seriously, and we look forward to the opportunity to respond to the allegations.”
Robles also previously filed a similar complaint against the Green Bay Area Public School District, which she lost.
