
A juvenile in Two Rivers is being treated at a local hospital following a stabbing.
The Two Rivers Police Department was called to a home in the 1800 block of 21st Street at 10:00 Saturday evening (March 22nd) on a report of a female juvenile being stabbed in the chest.
Lieutenant Matthew Lutheran reports that Deputies from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT also responded and a standoff ensued.
22-year-old Dominic M. Liggins was eventually taken into custody, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Liggins was charged with Recklessly Endangering Safety, Physical Abuse of a Child, False Imprisonment, and Bail Jumping.
The stabbing was believed to be an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger.
